God's plan of Salvation

Lewis Woodard's Father, Rev. Carroll R. Woodard, was a Non-Denominational Minister. Lewis grew up in a home where every night without fail he would hear his father praying, thanking God for His goodness, asking Him for guidance, and asking Him to supply the necessities of life. Lewis's Mother was the example of Motherhood and a wife who stood by her husband in good times and bad. Both of his parents went Home to be with the Lord in 1987.
A FEW OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE INFLUENCED MY LIFE:

I have met many Godly people I call friends. One of those friends was Dr. Jerry Falwell, Pastor and Founder of the Thomas Road Baptist Church and Liberty Schools in Lynchburg Va.

(I graduated from TRBI that later became part of Liberty University. The school at that time was Scripturally sound, and so was Thomas Road Baptist Church. I can no longer endorse Thomas Road Baptist Church or Liberty University as being Scripturally sound. As a wise man once told me: "After the second or third generation of a Christian organization [church-school] apostasy sets in." The wise man's prediction I believe has sadly come true.)

 Jerry Falwell was my friend.

The above picture is Jerry with me in 1976. The picture was taken in 1976 in the Logan Baptist Temple, the church God allowed me to found in 1975.

I have been privileged to personally meet many individuals who have been greatly used of the Lord. The people listed here have been a great influence and blessing in my life: Evangelist Dr. John R. Rice; Pastor Art Hage; Dr. H. L. (Harold) Wilmington; JC Workman;
H.D. Shumake ; Grant G. Rice ; Pastor Jack Hyles; B.R. Laken; Dr. Jack Van Impe, and many others. Some of those mentioned have gone on to be with the Lord. I know that having met and heard these men of God preach the Word, "much has been given me and much is required" (Luke 12.48).

"The Lord has been more than gracious to me throughout my life. He has watched over me and lifted me up when I thought there was no hope. I have found true hope, and guidance comes only from the Lord! Trust Him as your Saviour! Trust Him to lead you, provide for you, and then protect you as His child! "

Lewis

Philippians 3:13-14 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
