"GOING, GOING, GONE?."
 
I recently had a conversation with an individual who is a member of a mainline denomination (Baptist). This person informed me that their offerings are now being received by young men wearing shorts and flip flops. It is a fact that our salvation does not depend on what we wear or don't wear. BUT(!), are we as Christians showing respect to our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ when we dress and act like the world in a place where we are to be especially reverent and respectful? Come on!
SAD(!) that our churches have become nothing more than a "social gathering place" for people who want to gather together and play games. Then we wring our hands and ask: "how did our country get in such a mess?"
We Christians have become so scared of hurting someone's feelings that we are afraid to take a Godly stand for anything. Instead of being on fire for the Lord, many churches are on fire for the devil. God help us!
"As goes the church (and home) so goes the country." Maybe that's the reason Obama is President and could very likely be President for another four years. VOTE OBAMA OUT! VOTE THE DEVIL OUT OF OUR CHURCHES!

Let me remind you that, as Christians, you and I have a responsibility to pray for the safety of President Obama. We also have the responsibility to pray for him to make right decisions. Also, we need to pray for his salvation, if he is not saved (whether he is saved or not is between him and the Lord). (See Romans 13:1-7)
